Gynaecology

Periods, PCOS, infections, pelvic pain, contraception and menopause — seen by a consultant gynaecologist with 17 years in practice.

Gynaecology

Women's health, at every age

From a teenager's first irregular cycle to menopause and beyond — gynaecological care is most effective when it starts with someone actually listening.

Most gynaecology visits don't need a hospital. They need a careful history, an examination done with dignity, the right test (and only the right test), and a treatment plan you understand. That's what a consultation here looks like.

We commonly manage

  • Period problems — irregular, heavy, painful or missed periods, and bleeding between cycles.
  • PCOS / PCOD — diagnosis done properly, then a realistic plan covering cycles, skin, weight and fertility.
  • Infections — white discharge, itching, urinary tract infections, and recurrent infections that keep coming back.
  • Fibroids, cysts & endometriosis — evaluation, monitoring, medical management, and surgical referral when genuinely needed.
  • Contraception & family planning — all options explained without judgement, so the choice is genuinely yours.
  • Menopause & perimenopause — hot flushes, sleep, mood and bone health, taken seriously rather than dismissed.

When should you not wait?

See a doctor promptly — not next month — if you notice:

  • Bleeding after menopause, or bleeding between periods that keeps recurring
  • Severe pelvic pain that arrives suddenly
  • Periods heavy enough to soak through protection hourly
  • A missed period with a positive home pregnancy test and pain

Examinations, with dignity

Examinations happen only with your consent, with everything explained first. You're welcome to bring a family member into the room.

Common questions

Questions people ask before coming

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Both work. The clinic sees walk-in patients around the clock — 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Booking ahead simply means less waiting.

Will I be seen by a female doctor?

Yes. Consultations are with Dr. Deepthi Raidu, MBBS, MS (OBG), who has 17 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Which languages can I speak in?

English, Telugu or Hindi — whichever you are most comfortable with.

Are scans and blood tests done at the clinic?

Yes. Ultrasound scans and blood investigations are arranged on site, so most visits do not need a second trip elsewhere.

Can I bring someone with me?

Please do. Your husband, mother or sister is welcome in the consultation and will be included in the conversation, not talked over.
