Most couples who struggle to conceive don't need IVF. They need a correct diagnosis: is ovulation happening, are the tubes open, is the sperm count adequate, is timing right? How long should we try before seeking help?
The usual guidance is a year of regular unprotected intercourse — but six months if you are over 35, and sooner if periods are irregular or absent, or if there is a known problem such as previous surgery or a diagnosed condition.
Does the clinic do IVF?
No. What happens here is evaluation, ovulation tracking and counselling. When IVF or other assisted reproduction is the right next step, you are referred to a specialist centre — and told plainly why.
Should my husband come too?
Yes. A meaningful fertility assessment covers both partners; male factors account for a substantial share of difficulty conceiving, and testing only one person wastes time.
Can you guarantee we will conceive?
No, and no clinic honestly can. What can be offered is a proper assessment, the tests that actually change the plan, and a clear view of your options.
What happens at the first visit?
A full history from both partners, an examination, and a decision about which baseline tests are worth doing. Scans and blood tests are available on site.
